In 2017, positions on the Labour National Constitutional Committee (NCC) and the Labour Conference Arrangement Committee (CAC). Constituency Labour Parties (CLPs) may make nominations for candidates.
The Vauxhall CLP Executive Committee (EC) has agreed that we will be making nominations at the General Committee (GC) on 29th June 2017.
HOW MANY CANDIDATES CAN THE CLP NOMINATE?
CLPs can nominate up to two candidates for the National Constitutional Committee and up to two for the Conference Arrangements Committee.
WHO WILL BE ABLE TO VOTE IN THE NOMINATIONS?
GC delegates only will be allowed to vote.
WHO WILL BE ALLOWED TO VOTE IN THE ELECTIONS FOR THESE POSITIONS?
- Conference Arrangements Committee: All members will be sent ballot papers to vote on a One Member One Vote (OMOV) basis for two positions on the CAC
- National Constitutional Committee: Delegates at Labour Party Conference will vote for the representatives on the NCC
